Physical Description#
He is tall, lean, and gray-haired with dark eyes. (TSR,Ch8) He is gray-haired, hard and lean with dark eyes. (TFoH,Ch46) He has dark, predatory eyes. (TFoH,Ch51) He has a gray pointed beard. (LoC,Ch19)
Chronology (Possible Spoilers)#
- Carleon, Meilan, Tedosian, Sunamon and other High Lords meet with Rand in the Stone of Tear. They resist his orders to lower taxes, treat with Mayene and ship grain to Illian. (TSR,Ch8)
- Torean, Sunamon and Meilan craft a treaty with Mayene that virtually gives Torean an occupying army. Rand angrily burns it and tells Sunamon and Meilan to come up with a reasonable treaty or he will hang them. (TSR,Ch9)
- Rand orders High Lords Aracome, Gueyam, Hearne, Maraconn, Meilan, Simaan, Torean and Lady Alteima to lead the Tairen army to Cairhien to restore order. Meilan is to lead the force. (TSR,Ch21)
- High Lord Meilan is in charge of the defense of Cairhien when Couladin and the Shaido lay siege. TFoH,Ch30)
- The morning after the defeat of the Shaido, High Lords Meilan, Aracome, Gueyam, Hearne, Maraconn, Simaan and Torean try to call on Rand in his tent, but the Wise Ones and Maidens chase them away. (TFoH,Ch45)
