- Colavaere sends Selande to try to seduce Rand, but he terrifies her and chases her away. (TFoH,Ch51)
- Many Cairhienin including Colavaere, Dobraine, Maringil and Selande and many Tairens including Meilan, Fionnda Annariz, Anaiyella, Maraconn, Gueyam and Aracome wait to meet with Rand in the Sun Palace but he Travels to Caemlyn instead. (LoC,Ch19)
- Selande becomes a leader of the young Cairhienin who play at being Aiel. (LoC,Ch50)
- Selande meets Rand and his entourage as they enter the Sun Palace in Cairhien. (ACoS,Ch4)
