The appearance of [Cyndane] makes it all the more likely that [Lanfear] was dead at the time of the murder. Likewise, I eliminate [Mesaana] and other incarnations such as [Fain], [Shaidar Haran], [Moridin], The Previously Unknown Bad Guy in [Winter's Heart|Winters Heart], etc. since there is no evidence that they were in [Caemlyn] and no reason for them to be in [Caemlyn] at the time of the murder.
