[Ajimbura] found the camp where [Tuon|Tuon Athaem Kore Paendrag] is held. [Karede|Furyk Karede] and [Musenge] think his plan is a long shot. [Karede|Furyk Karede] brought a small party, [Ajimbura], a couple of Guards, [Hartha|hartha] and a couple of Gardeners, [Melitene|melitene] and [Mylen|Sheraine Caminelle]. The rest stayed behind with [Musenge] in case the camp is a trap. [Karede|Furyk Karede] shudders when he thinks of [Healing|Weaves#h] touching him, but he wonders if it could have saved [Kalia|../../characters/k/kalia]. They enter the camp and note there are only seven or eight thousand, not enough to do the damage described by [Gamel Loune|../characters/g/gamel_loune]. A man rides up and introduces himself as [Talmanes Delovinde|../characters/t/talmanes]. He recognizes the [Deathwatch Guard|Seanchan (People)] armor from [Mat|Matrim Cauthon]'s description. [Tuon|Tuon Athaem Kore Paendrag] and [Selucia] ride up with a young man, [Tylin|Tylin Quintara]'s Toy.[4] [Ajimbura] is gone to report to [Musenge]. Taking his gamble, [Karede|Furyk Karede] addresses [Thom|Thom Merrilin] telling him that General [Chisen|chisen] is returning to the [Malvide Narrows|../geography/damona] and will be here in two days. If he releases [Tuon|Tuon Athaem Kore Paendrag], [Karede|Furyk Karede] will let them go so they can be through the mountains into the [Molvaine Gap|../geography/damona] and avoid destruction. [Thom|Thom Merrilin] points [Karede|Furyk Karede] to [Mat|Matrim Cauthon] as the general. [Mat|Matrim Cauthon] says [Chisen|chisen] is actually five days away heading the wrong direction, but that is not important. He asked [Karede|Furyk Karede] if he can safely return [Tuon|Tuon Athaem Kore Paendrag] to the [Tarasin Palace]. [Karede|Furyk Karede] is stunned. They both know most of the [Seanchan|Seanchan (People)] army is trying to kill [Tuon|Tuon Athaem Kore Paendrag]. [Mat|Matrim Cauthon] then asks [Tuon|Tuon Athaem Kore Paendrag] if she trusts [Karede|Furyk Karede]. She says she trusts him more than anyone and asks if he still has her doll.[5] He says he lost it in the fire at [Sohima|../geography/seanchan/index]. She commiserates with him on the loss of his wife and son. He is overwhelmed that she kept up with him.
