Before going, [Egwene|Egwene alVere] tries to have a conversation with [Cowinde] but the woman is unwilling to speak about herself. [Egwene|Egwene alVere] attributes [Cowinde]'s bleak attitude to the [bleakness|MeraDin].[1] When proceeding to the sweat tent, [Egwene|Egwene alVere] remembers receiving segade blossoms from [Aviendha].[2] The [Wise Ones|Aiel] who are teaching [Egwene|Egwene alVere] to be a [dreamwalker|TelAranRhiod] - [Amys], [Bair] and [Melaine] - are already waiting. [Aviendha] and [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] are also present. [Bair] chides [Egwene|Egwene alVere] for being slow. [Melaine] tells [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] that the [Aiel] follow [Rand|Rand alThor], not the [White Tower].
