Bayle and Moiraine are still bargaining. He's shown her a rock from before the [Breaking], but she questions whether that is true. He says that the [Sea Folk] are the best at bargaining and that she doesn't want that rock. He then shows her a piece of broken [Cuendillar], noting that its made from the [One Power] and its defining trait is that it can't be broken.
