An Aiel Maiden of the Spear. She is of the Nine Valleys sept of the Taardad Aiel. She is Aviendha's second-sister (cousin).

- Aviendha, Jolien, Dailin, Bain and Chiad are among the last Aiel sent by the Wise Ones to hunt for He Who Comes With the Dawn. (TDR,Ch39)
- Dailin is wounded in a fight with river brigands. Nynaeve Heals her. (TDR,Ch38)
- Dailin participates in the rescue of Egwene, Elayne and Nynaeve from the brigands and Fades. She is killed. (TDR,Ch39)
