[Sevanna] arrives. She asks [Galina|Galina Casban] to swear obedience to her and shows her the [binder|Oath Rod]. [Galina|Galina Casban] notes that it looks exactly like the [Oath Rod] except that it has numerals one hundred eleven where the [Oath Rod] has a numeral three. [Galina|Galina Casban] regards it as she would a [hooded viper|../geography/drowned] from the [Drowned Lands|../geography/drowned].[1] [Therava] suddenly appears leading a dozen [Wise Ones|Aiel] including [Emerys|emerys], [Modarra], [Norlea|norlea], [Rhiale], [Someryn] and [Tion|tion]. The [Maidens|Maidens of the Spear] all leave. [Therava] challenges [Sevanna]. The [Wise Ones|Aiel] have been meeting without her.
