Encyclopaedia WoT: Malind Nachenin

An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah. She is younger than Escaralde but older than Aledrin and Kwamesa. She is from Kandor.

She joins the Salidar Aes Sedai and is elected Sitter in the Salidar Hall.

She is slightly plump with a pretty face, full lips and dark eyes. (LoC,Ch35) She is round-faced and fierce-eyed. (TPoD,Ch19)

The Salidar Sitters including Malind elect Egwene as their Amyrlin. Malind stands on the first vote as well as the second. (LoC,Ch35)

The Sitters meet to hear the report on Shadar Logoth. Malind and Escaralde arrive early, yet they select seats for their Ajahs in the back. Escaralde, Malind and Moria propose an alliance with the Black Tower. They are the first to stand and vote YES. (CoT,Ch19)
Lelaine calls an emergency meeting of the Hall. Aledrin, Delana, Escaralde, Faiselle, Janya, Lyrelle, Kwamesa, Malind, Moria, Romanda, Salita, Samalin and Saroiya attend. Merise and Jahar Narishma make an offer for them to bond forty-seven Asha'man. Malind brings Nacelle to detect his channeling.
