- When Lan arrives at the Aesdaishar Palace, Mistress Romera assigns Anya and Esne to be his servants and Bulen to be his errand boy. (NS,Ch22)
- Anya, Esne and Bulen are in Lan's rooms when Moiraine calls on him. (NS,Ch25)
- Anya and Esne now answer to Edeyn Arrel, but Lan thinks Bulen is still loyal to him. (NS,Ch26)
- Bulen brings a pack horse and joins Lan on the Proska Flats in Saldaea. (ToM,Prologue)
- In eastern Kandor another band of Malkier and Shienarans finds Lan. (ToM,Ch23)
- Lan's growing army crosses into Arafel at the Silverwall Keeps where many more join. (ToM,Ch42)
