A creature looking something like a very large, hairless bear with no muzzle. They are kept as pets and guard animals in Seanchan (People). Lopar are ten feet tall and weigh near two thousand pounds. They have hairless skin like reddish brown leather. They have six-toed forepaws with retractable claws. They have round heads and wide mouths full of sharp teeth.
