The River Alguenya begins west of Kinslayer's Dagger and flows south to where it joins the Erinin River at Aringill and Maerone.

1. TGH,Ch25 - Cairhien lies on the east bank of the River Alguenya just south of where the Gaelin River joins it.

1. TDR,Ch39 - The Aiel in Cairhien crossed the Alguenya on rafts to pursue their search for He Who Comes With the Dawn.
In The Fires of Heaven
1. TFoH,Ch43 - Mat tries to head south from Rand's camp, but bands of Aiel slowly divert him back toward the Alguenya.
2. TFoH,Ch51 - Mat leads the Band of the Red Hand south across the Alguenya to battle invading Andorans.

1. LoC,Ch5 - Mat sees the Sea Folk ship disembark from Aringill and head up the River Alguenya.
2. LoC,Ch54 - Perrin, Loial and Gaul leave Cairhien and cross the River Alguenya heading north to follow Rand.
