[Marille] says the knife is a Bloodknife carried by the elite [Seanchan|Seanchan (People)] assassin [Bloodknives|Seanchan (People)]. [Gawyn|Gawyn Trakand] demands to talk to any [Seanchan|Seanchan (People)] officers to learn more. They bring [Kaisea], a %%ot [sul'dam|Seanchan (People)]%% of the Low Blood. [Kaisea] tells him [Bloodknives|Seanchan (People)] wear %%ot [ter'angreal|Angreal]%% rings that blur them into shadow but slowly kill them. [Gawyn|Gawyn Trakand] is debating what to do when a servant brings a letter from [Tar Valon]. It is a letter from [Egwene|Egwene alVere] demanding that he return. Instead, he sends back a message about the [Bloodknives|Seanchan (People)].[2]
