He is accompanied by numerous lords, [Illian|Illian (Country)] [Council of Nine|Illian (Country)] members [Gregorin|Gregorin Panar den Lushenos] and [Marac], First Captain [Demetre Marcolin], [Tairen|Tear (Country)] High Lords [Weiramon|Weiramon Saniago], [Tolmeran], [Aracome], [Maraconn] and [Gueyam], High Lady [Rosana], and [Cairhienin|Cairhien (Country)] Lord [Semaradrid|Semaradrid Maravin]. [Rosana] was recently raised to High Lady.

There are two or three thousand of [Sammael]'s men nearby. Most of them disbanded when they heard Lord [Brend|Sammael] was dead and [Mattin Stepaneos|Mattin Stepaneos den Balgar] vanished. [Lews Therin|Lews Therin Telamon] has still not come back but the flashes of swirling colors continue to appear. Ignoring [Alanna|Alanna Mosvani] is becoming easier for him. [Rand|Rand alThor] calls [Dashiva|OsanGar] and [Eben Hopwil] who is now a full [Asha'man]. [Hopwil|Eben Hopwil] brought news of the [Seanchan|Seanchan (People)] from [Amador]. [Morr|Fedwin Morr] is checking out [Ebou Dar]. 

[Rand|Rand alThor] thinks again of women who died for him, [Desora] of the [Musara] [Reyn], [Lamelle] of the [Smoke Water] [Miagoma], [Liah] of the [Cosaida] [Chareen]. He adds [Laigin Arnault] of the [Red Ajah] who died at [Dumai's Wells|Dumais Wells] and [Colavaere|Colavaere Saighan] even though she hanged herself. Especially painful is [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred]. 

[Rand|Rand alThor] rides forward with [Gregorin|Gregorin Panar den Lushenos], [Marcolin|Demetre Marcolin], [Dashiva|OsanGar] and [Hopwil|Eben Hopwil]. [Rand|Rand alThor] speaks with the leader of the men[1] telling him he can join [Rand|Rand alThor] or he can lay down his arms and go home. The man complains that they must defend themselves from [Dragonsworn] and [Aiel]. [Rand|Rand alThor] amplifies his voice with [Air|One Power] and [Fire|One Power] and says [Davram Bashere] and his soldiers are dealing with them. [Rand|Rand alThor] and his party return to the others. When [Rand|Rand alThor] lets go of %%ot [saidin|Said]%% he gets dizzy and sees double. This is a recent problem.[2] He wonders if [Sammael] was responsible for [Aiel] all over [Illian|Illian (Country)]. He returns to his tent.
