[Ingtar|Ingtar Shinowa] says "I am saved." Looking out a window, [Rand|Rand alThor] spots [Egwene|Egwene alVere] wearing the %%ot [a'dam|aDam]%% in the house across the street. [Turak|Turak Aladon] comes in with two servants and several soldiers. He expected [Fain|Padan Fain] since [Fain|Padan Fain] wanted the [ruby dagger|Ruby Dagger] and [Huan] died mysteriously.[1] When a soldier reaches for the [Horn|Horn of Valere], [Mat|Matrim Cauthon] slashes him with the [ruby dagger|Ruby Dagger] and he dies horribly. [Ingtar|Ingtar Shinowa] and the others attack the soldiers while [Rand|Rand alThor] faces [Turak|Turak Aladon]. [Rand|Rand alThor] does not want to [channel|True Source] because %%brown [Verin|Verin Mathwin]%% told him the %%ot [damane|Seanchan (People)]%% could detect it[2] so he does not hold the void. [Turak|Turak Aladon] prepares to kill him, so finally he does hold the void. The tide turns and [Rand|Rand alThor] kills [Turak|Turak Aladon]. This is the first time [Rand|Rand alThor] killed a man. The two servants kill themselves. [Ingtar|Ingtar Shinowa] and the others have dealt with the soldiers. An alarm sounds as they run from the house. [Rand|Rand alThor] vows to return for [Egwene|Egwene alVere].
