She wonders why [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] came herself and who is with her. Many [Aes Sedai] know she can eavesdrop. Two [Aes Sedai] knock on her door, %%blue [Anaiya]%% of the [Blue Ajah] and %%red [Liandrin]%% of the [Red Ajah]. [Anaiya] and [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] are friends. As they head for the audience with the [Amyrlin|Aes Sedai], [Anaiya] and [Liandrin] tell [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] what is happening in the world. [Anaiya] says [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] has been gone from the [White Tower] too long. [Liandrin] says there are three more [false Dragon|False Dragons]s in [Saldaea],[2] [Murandy] and [Tear|Tear (Country)], but only the one in [Saldaea] can [channel|True Source]. [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] notes that there were three others in the last two years. [Logain|Logain Ablar] is now [gentled|stilling] in [Tar Valon]. The two others in [Kandor] and [Arad Doman] could not [channel|True Source].[3] The one in [Murandy] has been captured while the one in [Tear|Tear (Country)] is hiding in [Haddon Mirk]. [Murandy] barely holds together as a country. Its citizens call themselves [Lugarders|Lugard] or [Inishlinni|Inishlinn]. They meet Lady [Amalisa|Amalisa Jagad]. [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] has known her a long time. [Amalisa|Amalisa Jagad] calls King [Easar|Easar Togita] %%ot [Magami|Old Tongue]%% ("Little Uncle"). 

[Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] sees [Egwene|Egwene alVere] hiding [Rand|Rand alThor] and thinks she could be [Amyrlin|Aes Sedai].[4] [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] notices [Liandrin] being friendly with [Amalisa|Amalisa Jagad] and wonders what she is up to. [Morgase|Morgase Trakand] and [Gareth Bryne] have [Andor] under control. [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] and [Gawyn|Gawyn Trakand] are in [Tar Valon]. [Whitecloaks] followed them all the way from [Caemlyn] to [Tar Valon]. The [Great Hunt of the Horn|Horn of Valere] has been called in [Illian|Illian (Country)], the first time in four hundred years. The few [Sea Folk] [Aes Sedai] say the [Coramoor|Jendai Prophecies] is coming. The [Sea Folk] are also known as %%ot [Atha'an Miere|Compleat]%%. There is a rumor about fighting in [Toman Head]. [Tarabon] and [Arad Doman] have been fighting over [Almoth Plain] for three hundred years. 

They reach the audience chamber. %%brown [Verin Mathwin]%% and %%brown [Serafelle]%% of the [Brown Ajah], a slender [Yellow|Yellow Ajah],[5] %%white [Carlinya]%% of the [White Ajah] and %%green [Alanna Mosvani]%% of the [Green Ajah] are there. [Leane|Leane Sharif] enters and summons [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] into the [Amyrlin|Aes Sedai]'s chamber. %%amyrlin [Siuan|Siuan Sanche]%% has the chest with the [Horn|Horn of Valere]. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] is from the [Maule|Tear (City)], the port district in [Tear|Tear (Country)]. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] says they [channeled|True Source] the weather to get to [Fal Dara] as fast as possible. She says %%red [Elaida|Elaida do Avriny aRoihan]%% came to [Tar Valon] with [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] and [Gawyn|Gawyn Trakand]. The [Red Ajah] scored points by [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] being so strong. [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] has seen [Elayne|Elayne Trakand][6] and says [Egwene|Egwene alVere] is as strong and [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] stronger. [Elaida|Elaida do Avriny aRoihan] told everyone that [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] was messing with a %%ot [ta'veren|Wheel of Time]%% more dangerous than anyone since [Artur Hawkwing]. Master [Gill|Basel Gill] cooperated with her. Lord [Agelmar|Agelmar Jagad] already told [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] about the boys and the [Horn|Horn of Valere]. The [Sitters] for the [Green Ajah] proposed that [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] should be punished.[7] The [Green Ajah] and [Red Ajah] are apparently working together. Four of the last five [Amyrlins|Aes Sedai] came from the [Blue Ajah].[8] %%blue [Maigan]%% is the other [Blue Ajah] delegate. 

[Siuan|Siuan Sanche] asks [Leane|Leane Sharif] to leave then wards the room against eavesdropping. [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] feels a tingle when [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] channels.[9] [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred], [Leane|Leane Sharif] and [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] were all [novices] together. [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] and [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] are old friends and have been planning something dire.[10]
