[Uno|Uno Nomesta] and the rest stayed in the [Foregate|Cairhien (City)]. [Cuale|cuale] moans about his burning inn. [Verin|Verin Mathwin], who has been in [Cairhien|Cairhien (Country)], suggests [The Great Tree]. [Hurin] says he can follow the [Darkfriends]' trail. They all go to [The Great Tree]. The innkeeper, [Tiedra|tiedra], knows [Verin|Verin Mathwin] and welcomes them. Servants show them to their rooms and [Rand|Rand alThor] has a bath. [Verin|Verin Mathwin] does not seem to know [Selene|Lanfear], but knows a little of the [Portal Stone]. [Rand|Rand alThor] reads a bit of ''The Travels of [Jain Farstrider|Jain Charin]'' who visited the [Sea Folk] and the lands beyond the [Aiel Waste]. [Hurin] returns. He tracked the [Darkfriends] to Lord [Barthanes|Barthanes Damodred]' manor. [Mat|Matrim Cauthon] suggests alerting [Galldrian|Galldrian su Riatin Rie] but [Verin|Verin Mathwin] says they would never get the [Horn|Horn of Valere] back then. [Rand|Rand alThor] shows them his invitations; [Barthanes|Barthanes Damodred]' is for the next night. They will set [Uno|Uno Nomesta] and the others to watch the manor till then. [Verin|Verin Mathwin] then discards [Galldrian|Galldrian su Riatin Rie]'s. [Verin|Verin Mathwin] knows about the [giant statue|Choedan Kal].
