[Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] wrecks the ferry and [Rand|Rand alThor] shivers.[2] [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] creates a heavy fog that covers the river. She says there are not ten [Aes Sedai] who could do it as well.[3] They make camp for an hour. [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] begins teaching [Egwene|Egwene alVere] about the [One Power]. [Egwene|Egwene alVere] is excited about [Aes Sedai]. [Thom|Thom Merrilin] growls when the [Red Ajah] is mentioned. [Rand|Rand alThor] has only heard of three men who could [channel|True Source].[4] Women who can [channel|True Source] must be taught. Otherwise, they might die. Those who are not taught but survive often become Wisdoms. [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] says [Egwene|Egwene alVere] could go far, even to the [Amyrlin Seat|Aes Sedai].[5]
