[Egwene|Egwene alVere] and [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] are in their novice rooms in the [White Tower]. They talk to each other through holes in the wall. [Faolain|Faolain Orande] bursts in on [Egwene|Egwene alVere] and notices her talking to [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] through the hole.[1] [Faolain|Faolain Orande] and the "apple-cheeked [Accepted]"[2] escort [Egwene|Egwene alVere] and [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] to the [Amyrlin|Aes Sedai]'s chambers. Along the way they are joined by [Nynaeve|Nynaeve alMeara] and her escort, [Theodrin|Theodrin Dabei]. [Egwene|Egwene alVere] had not been near the [Amyrlin|Aes Sedai]'s rooms before. They arrive at the [Amyrlin|Aes Sedai]'s antechamber and are met by %%blue [Leane|Leane Sharif]%%. [Leane|Leane Sharif] asks the escorts if the girls gave any trouble. [Faolain|Faolain Orande] indicates yes and the other two say no. [Leane|Leane Sharif] chides [Faolain|Faolain Orande] and sends her to %%brown [Marris|Marris Thornhill]%% Sedai for punishment. The other two girls also leave. [Leane|Leane Sharif] pauses for a moment and then bids them to enter the [Amyrlin|Aes Sedai]'s study. %%amyrlin [Siuan|Siuan Sanche]%% is sitting at her desk. [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] tells [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] that %%black [Liandrin]%% is [Black Ajah]. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] tells them that that is already known and that she and twelve other women[3] left the [White Tower] some months ago and stole some %%ot [ter'angreal|Angreal]%%[4] on the way out. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] also tells them that they should be glad that only she, [Leane|Leane Sharif], and %%brown [Verin|Verin Mathwin]%% know that they had anything to do with [Liandrin] or they might have been stilled. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] says that their punishment is to be assigned to the kitchens, to work with the scullions, until further notice. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] says that [Egwene|Egwene alVere] and [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] are to be raised to [Accepted]. 

[Morgase|Morgase Trakand] was at the [White Tower] less than a month ago and was furious about [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] not being there. [Morgase|Morgase Trakand] refused to take [Elaida|Elaida do Avriny aRoihan] back with her to [Caemlyn]. She almost took [Galad|Galad Damodred] and [Gawyn|Gawyn Trakand] with her, but they talked her out of it. [Morgase|Morgase Trakand] demanded that [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] be returned to [Caemlyn] as soon as she returned. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] has no intention of doing so. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] says that [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] has the potential to be stronger than any [Aes Sedai] in a thousand years. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] then tells [Leane|Leane Sharif] to escort [Elayne|Elayne Trakand] to [Sheriam|Sheriam Bayanar]'s study. She has a few more words yet with the other two...
