She is wearing one of [Tamore|Tamore Alkohima]'s dresses. It will be three or four years before [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] is strong enough to tell %%blue [Cetalia|Cetalia Delarme]%% she wants to quit, so [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] knows something is wrong. She wonders if [Sierin|Sierin Vayu] learned of their plot and forced [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] to bring her back. [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] follows her into a narrow alley. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] tells [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] that all five of the searchers, %%gray [Aisha|Aisha Raveneos]%%, %%green [Kerene|Kerene Nagashi]%%, %%brown [Valera|Valera Gorovni]%%, %%yellow [Ludice|Ludice Daneen]%% and %%white [Meilyn|Meilyn Arganya]%%, are dead. [Aisha|Aisha Raveneos] and her [Warder|Warder] were killed by bandits in [Murandy]. [Kerene|Kerene Nagashi] fell off a ship in the [Alguenya River]. [Meilyn|Meilyn Arganya] returned to the [White Tower] after the other four died. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] wanted to speak to her in secret so she hid under her bed. [Meilyn|Meilyn Arganya] never showed, but at breakfast next morning %%yellow [Chesmal|Chesmal Emry]%% announced that she died in her sleep.[1] She now wonders if %%amyrlin [Tamra|Tamra Ospenya]%% might have been murdered, too. The only reasonable conclusion is the [Black Ajah]. [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] left an anonymous note about the [Black Ajah] for %%amyrlin [Sierin|Sierin Vayu]%%.[2] They wonder if %%green [Cadsuane|Cadsuane Melaidhrin]%% might be another searcher or if she might be [Black Ajah]. [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] convinces [Siuan|Siuan Sanche] to head on to [Chachin]; she will follow after [Cadsuane|Cadsuane Melaidhrin]'s bed check. At the inn, [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] sees [Ryne|Ryne Venamar] leaving and an edge of shawl from a sister he is talking to.[3] In the common room %%blue [Merean|Merean Redhill]%%, %%gray [Larelle|Larelle Tarsi]%% and [Cadsuane|Cadsuane Melaidhrin] are wearing their shawls. With three more [Aes Sedai] arrived, Master [Helvin] informs [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] that she must share a room with a [Murandian|Murandy] rug merchant [Haesel Palan]. With her worries she cannot sleep. When [Cadsuane|Cadsuane Melaidhrin] checks on her, she opens herself to %%ot [saidar|Said]%% causing [Cadsuane|Cadsuane Melaidhrin] to mutter about the fool girl. [Moiraine|Moiraine Damodred] gets up and reluctantly leaves most of her possessions behind. She wears a riding dress with embroidery like [Maldine|Other Locations] lace as she leaves her room.

[#1] It seems that this should put %%yellow [Chesmal|Chesmal Emry]%% at the top of the list as a suspect [Black Ajah], but for some reason %%blue [Siuan|Siuan Sanche]%% never followed up on it.
\\[#2] Apparently [Sierin|Sierin Vayu] follows up on this, but %%yellow [Chesmal|Chesmal Emry]%% induces the [Red Ajah] to murder her before she can act on her investigation. ([WH,Ch10])
