Looking over at [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)], [Stepin|Stepin (TV)] questions Lan's choice in traveling companions. Lan corrects him, saying that she's barely company. ([Episode 104])
* Lan comes up and asks if he can join [Liandrin|Liandrin (TV)] and [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)]. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] tells Lan that [Liandrin|Liandrin (TV)] is a snake. She asks Lan if the [White Tower] is full of women like that, to which Lan replies that she'll have a chance to find out. He reminds her that [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] and he promised to help find their friends when they got to the [White Tower]. Lan leaves, but as he's walking away, he invites her to the [Warder]'s fire, as long as she doesn't shove anyone into it. ([Episode 104])
* Lan, [Stepin|Stepin (TV)], [Ihvon|Ihvon (TV)], [Maksim|Maksim (TV)] and [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] are sitting around a campfire. Eventually, he says he's feeling tired and leaves the fire. ([Episode 104])
* Lan enters [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)]'s tent, where she is sitting on the bed. Lan, remarking on [Logain|Logain (TV)], says that he's at least ten years too old. She thinks that the [Dark One|Shaitan] doesn't know who the Dragon Reborn is either, which bothers Lan. She holds Lan's hand and he remarks that she always gets emotional after he drinks. ([Episode 104])
* At the [Aes Sedai] camp, Lan is wandering away from camp and [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] decides to follow him. ([Episode 104])
* Lan explains to [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] that he just finished a [Malkieri|Malkier] ritual: seven times for the seven towers of [Malkier]. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] kneels down, kisses her hand and then touches her hand to the ground and says a prayer in the [Old Tongue]. Lan translates it for her. ([Episode 104])
* During the battle with [Logain|Logain (TV)]'s army, [Stepin|Stepin (TV)], Lan and [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] head towards the cave. ([Episode 104])
* [Logain|Logain (TV)] turns [Stepin|Stepin (TV)]'s axes into shrapnel and hurls them back at everyone. Everyone except [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] is hurt or dying. Lan is bleeding badly from a neck injury. [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] runs over and kneels by him. She yells "No!" and [Heals|Weaves] everyone who was injured. The healing generates a blazing ball of light visible to everyone. ([Episode 104])

! At The White Tower
* [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] and [Lan|Lan (TV)] talk about what it's like to be back at the [White Tower]. [Lan|Lan (TV)] tells her that [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] is worried about [Stepin|Stepin (TV)]. ([Episode 105])
* [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)], Lan and [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] enter the [Warders]' quarters in the [White Tower]. ([Episode 105])
* Lan walks into the room with [Stepin|Stepin (TV)] and other [Warders]. Lan mentions that [Alanna|Alanna (TV)] is willing to bond him, but [Stepin|Stepin (TV)] replies that Lan should wait until something similar happens to him before giving advice. ([Episode 105])
* Lan enters [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)]'s room where [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] is sitting in a chair. He kneels next to her and puts his arm atop her arm. They both stare at each other in silent conversation. ([Episode 105])
* Lan tells about the [Forsaken] selling their souls to the [Dark One|Shaitan] for eternal life, and that the last [Dragon|Lews Therin Telamon (TV)] sealed them away. Lan tells [Stepin|Stepin (TV)] that he'll stay with him until morning. ([Episode 105])
* [Stepin|Stepin (TV)] pours Lan a cup of tea. [Stepin|Stepin (TV)] and Lan are discussing whether or not [Stepin|Stepin (TV)] will accept [Alanna|Alanna (TV)]'s offer of bonding. They move on to talking about [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)]. Lan wakes up in the morning with the tea cup still in his hand, empty. [Stepin|Stepin (TV)] is not in the room. Lan sees the empty envelope that [Nynaeve|Nynaeve (TV)] gave [Stepin|Stepin (TV)] and then sees that a dagger is missing from a display. He races out of the room to find [Stepin|Stepin (TV)]. He finds [Stepin|Stepin (TV)] in a hallway, dead from a self-inflicted stab wound using the missing dagger. ([Episode 105])
* The lead [Warder] calls on Lan to lay his hand on [Stepin|Stepin (TV)]'s body and to relieve all the [Warders] of their grief. Lan kneels down and places his left hand on [Stepin|Stepin (TV)]'s body. The [Warders] start to pound their right hands on their chests. Lan looks at [Moiraine|Moiraine (TV)] and then starts to pound his chest with his right hand. Lan, and Lan alone, starts yelling in grief. ([Episode 105])
