With news of [Seanchan|Seanchan (People)] soldiers near the circus, [Mat|Matrim Cauthon] sends [Noal|Noal Charin] to warn [Egeanin|Egeanin Tamarath] and [Olver] to warn the [Aes Sedai] and %%ot [sul'dam|Seanchan (People)]%%. [Egeanin|Egeanin Tamarath] now only answers to [Leilwin|Egeanin Tamarath] Shipless. He leaves [Tuon|Tuon Athaem Kore Paendrag] and [Selucia] in their wagon though he thinks about setting [Harnan] to guard them. Outside several hundred [Seanchan|Seanchan (People)] have arrived at [Jurador]. There are native [Seanchan|Seanchan (People)] as well as [Tarabon] and [Amadicia]ns. Three try to enter the circus without paying but the horse handler [Bollin] will not let them. [Luca|Valan Luca], [Petra|Petra Anhill] and other circus men nearby come over to help. A [Seanchan|Seanchan (People)] officer comes up and chastises [Murel], the leader of the three, and sends them back. The officer tries recruiting among the circus folk and even asks [Mat|Matrim Cauthon]. 

[Mat|Matrim Cauthon] goes to the [Aes Sedai] wagon passing [Clarine|Clarine Anhill] and her dogs and [Miyora|miyora] and her leopards on the way. [Blaeric|Blaeric Negina] and [Fen|Fen Mizar] are not at the wagon. As he approaches [Mat|Matrim Cauthon] feels the [foxhead medallion|Foxhead Medallion] go cold and knows someone is [channeling|True Source]. Angrily he bangs the door open. [Joline|Joline Maza], [Teslyn|Teslyn Baradon], [Edesina|Edesina Azzedin], [Bethamin|Bethamin Zeami], [Seta|Seta Zarbey] and [Setalle Anan] are there. [Joline|Joline Maza] is slapping [Bethamin|Bethamin Zeami]. [Mat|Matrim Cauthon] stops her and she slaps him. He then paddles her soundly. The other [Aes Sedai] try to stop him and are shocked when the [foxhead medallion|Foxhead Medallion] blocks them. [Setalle|Setalle Anan] asks if she can see the %%ot [ter'angreal|Angreal]%% that he must have.[1] She thinks [Cadsuane Melaidhrin] had one like it.[2] She knows about the test for the shawl as well. [Blaeric|Blaeric Negina] and [Fen|Fen Mizar] arrive but [Joline|Joline Maza] slams the door in their faces. [Mat|Matrim Cauthon] gets the story of what happened. [Joline|Joline Maza] wanted to see the [Seanchan|Seanchan (People)]. [Bethamin|Bethamin Zeami] and [Seta|Seta Zarbey] tried to stop her. [Edesina|Edesina Azzedin] bound them with [Air|One Power]. [Bethamin|Bethamin Zeami] [channeled|True Source] a shower of sparks on them. Now she must be trained or run a high risk of dying. While they argue about it [Mat|Matrim Cauthon] leaves. He thinks that at least now he does not have to worry about what happened to the %%ot [a'dam|aDam]%% any more.[3] That evening he wins two games of stones against [Tuon|Tuon Athaem Kore Paendrag]. He goes to sleep in the wagon he shares with [Egeanin|Egeanin Tamarath] and [Domon|Bayle Domon] with the dice still rattling.

\\[#2] Most interesting that [Setalle Anan] knows about [Cadsuane|Cadsuane Melaidhrin]'s %%ot [ter'angreal|Angreal]%%. Some of [Cadsuane|Cadsuane Melaidhrin]'s are not identified but we have no evidence that any of them actually block weaves like the [foxhead medallion|Foxhead Medallion]. Or is she referring to the one that [Cadsuane|Cadsuane Melaidhrin] uses to disrupt [Semirhage]'s [Illusion|Weaves#i]? ([KoD,Ch27])
