Rand watches the storm out the window from the estate in Tear. Spring seems to be late in coming.[1] Davram Bashere returns from his negotiations with the Seanchan.[2] They are amenable, but require a meeting with the Dragon Reborn in person. High Lady Suroth wants him to meet the Daughter of the Nine Moons.[3]
