* In 994 NE, Alteima meets Queen [Morgase|Morgase Trakand] during a state visit. ([TFoH,Ch1])
* Alteima poisons her husband [Tedosian] but he survives. ([TSR,Ch21], [TFoH,Ch1])
* [Rand|Rand alThor] orders High Lady Alteima to go with the forces to [Cairhien|Cairhien (Country)]. He adds that he will have High Lady [Estanda] care for her husband, High Lord [Tedosian], while she is gone. Alteima faints. ([TSR,Ch21])
* Instead of going to [Cairhien|Cairhien (Country)], Alteima makes her way to [Caemlyn] and the [Royal Palace] where she meets [Morgase|Morgase Trakand]. [Gaebril|Rahvin] takes a fancy to her. ([TFoH,Ch1])
* [Gaebril|Rahvin] keeps Alteima in the [Royal Palace] as his number two harem girl behind [Morgase|Morgase Trakand]. ([TFoH,Ch19])
