## [TSR,Ch48] - [Aviendha] teaches [Rand] about the denizens of the [Aiel Waste] including the %%ot __gara__%% and the __two-step__. The %%ot __gara__%% is a lizard about two feet long with bronze and yellow scales. Though slow moving, it can bite through a boot and is poisonous enough to kill a bull. The __two-step__ is a small brown snake of the [Aiel Waste]. It is so poisonous that its bite kills before the victim can take more than two steps.
## [TSR,Ch52] - [Amys] warns [Nynaeve] that a __mountain king__ is as deadly in the [dream|TelAranRhiod] as it is in the waking world.

## [TFoH,Ch2] - [Jheran] is disgusted with the spears who have succumbed to the [bleakness|MeraDin], slinking away like __stinkadders__.
## [TFoH,Ch4] - [Aviendha] calls [Isendre] a %%ot __sorda__%%. The %%ot __sorda__%% is a sly rat of the [Aiel Waste]. It is good for absolutely nothing.
## [TFoH,Ch6] - [Han] thinks worries that in chasing the [Shaido] [Rand]'s forces will be strung out like __blindworms__ in the sun.
## [TFoH,Ch13] - [Elayne] notes that [Valan Luca]'s circus has a %%ot __capar__%%, a creature of the [Aiel Waste] that looks like a large, hairy boar with a pointed snout and toes with claws.
## [TFoH,Ch21] - In [Jangai Pass], [Aviendha] kills a __bloodsnake__, a large brown snake three paces long. Its bite turns the blood to jelly in minutes, but its white meat makes a good stew. That does not bother [Rand] nearly as much as the %%ot __gara__%%, which tastes like chicken.

## [LoC,Ch15] - The [Wise Ones|Aiel] put __scarlet puffers__ in [Carlinya]'s dress. Later they laugh that she did not know the difference between a harmless __scarlet puffer__ and a poisonous __red adder__.
## [LoC,Ch15] - [Mora], one of the most famous [Wise Ones|Aiel], died of a __bloodsnake__ bite when she was three hundred years old.
## [LoC,Ch17] - The __yellowfly__ is almost too small to see, yet if you leave its egg in your skin you will lose an arm or a leg if you do not die.
## [LoC,Ch52] - A %%ot __motai__%% is a grub found in the [Aiel Waste]. It is quite sweet and crunchy.

## [TGS,Ch11] - A %%ot __sharadan__%% is a creature of the [Aiel Waste] that crawls on its belly.
